Failed Celebrity Endorsement Deal

There have been many Celebrities who have signed endorsement deals with big companies and then done a negative act. Some celebrities have got kicked off their deal for advertising a different brand, being involved with drugs or even just saying something wrong. In this post, i'm going to be discussing one incident where model Kate Moss lost her endorsement deal. 

In 2005, Kate Moss lost her endorsement deals with H&M, Burberry and Chanel. She was saw snorting Cocaine and all three of these companies decided to drop her deal. All three companies later said that Kate Moss will not be associated with any of there advertisements because they are firmly against drugs. In my opinion I agree with them dropping her deal because she did do drugs multiple times. Kate losing the chances to advertise with those companies doesn't really matter because after being dropped she was still a beautiful model. She continued modeling for others such as TopShop, Supreme and many more. She even modeled nude for Playboy's magazine cover! Just because one makes a mistake doesn't make their career over, it may damage it but celebrities can just fix it by booking more gigs.

 I believe that a lot of people sometimes take things to seriously. Some times in the news you will hear of celebrities being dropped from their deals because they advertised something that wasn't apart of the contract they are signed too.I think that is ridiculous.

All celebrities come from very different origins and a lot of them get discovered in many different ways. In this blog, i'm going to be telling you about one of my idols and how he was brought up.

Jacob Hoggard

Jacob was first on Canadian Idol back in 2004. He came in third on the show, but after that is when his career took off. He joined with Dave Rosin, Tommy Mac and Chris Crippin to form the band Hedley. Before Idol, Jacob original was in a band called Hedley but they went their separate ways and later re-formed the band with new members. I think Jacob defiantly took a lot of risks during his career being brought up. For example, when he chose to go on Canadian Idol he never knew what was going to happen. For all we knew he could have been the first one eliminated. Jacob Hoggard's public image is most likely many different things. To be honest, he is a very crazy, out going person but he is also very caring and heart warming (I can tell you from previous experiences). I don't think his image has changed overtime because if you go back and watch him perform on Canadian Idol he is always jumping around everywhere and he still does that to this day. Jacob makes a lot of public appearances. Hedley is always at award shows that they are invited to attend, they go on a tour about every two years to promote an album that they have just released and many more events. Right now, the boys have just finished a Canadian tour where they go to majority of Canada's provinces and play at venue's for people. On May 21st, 2014 the band is heading over to Europe to play several shows.

Analyzing a Celebrity

. 

Analyzing celebrities can some times be challenging. Everyone has different opinions on different celebrities. For example, Miley Cyrus. Now a days a lot of people think of her as a disturbing, non-influential person who is always doing bad things. Other people might see her as someone they look up too and depend on to help them get through times. Personally, I believe that Miley has made some wrong decisions that could come back around and get her one day but overall I think she is a very genuine person who loves her fans and will do anything she can to help them. Smilers are apart of  Miley's life because they think she has a really unique personality. Part of her is crazy and hardcore but another part of her is very down-to-earth. Her crazy hardcore side comes out in her music videos and in her upbeat party vibes she releases, but her down-to-earth side defiantly comes out when she is with her fans and even recently when her Alaskan Klee Kai, Floyd past away.

Beyoncé

There is barely any bad news ever spoken about Beyoncé because many people just see her as a huge icon. She has been around for a very long time and has such as successful career, that no one really cares about her negative side. I think that a lot of our society is influenced by Beyoncé because of what she is. Everyone sees her as someone with a hot body who can do anything and not get talked crap about, her career over takes anything. I believe that Beyoncé is one to take nothing to heart. She is very passionate about everything she does and you can simply tell buy just watching any of her performances. What does she bring to fans? Well, she continues to release enjoyable music to us, tour dates with her very own husband Jay-Z and lots more. Clearly Beyoncé knows who she is and what she wants to achieve.



There are so many ways you can analyze celebrities weather it be positively or negatively. Fandoms are made for entertainment which means there is a reason why everyone joins a fandom. Celebrities defiantly bring something that attracts the attention of people to become a fan of them.

When we analyze celebrities a lot of us just look at the bad side of the person and automatically think they are a bad individual. Anybody has the right to analyze whoever they want, in whatever way so i'm not saying the way you judge Miley or  Beyoncé is bad, but when analyzing look at the everything about them.
